Testimonials

Gabe Halsey was awarded the SWR Foundation Scholarship for the 2007 school year. Halsey has interned for SWR Institute member Frank Halsey, Mid-Continental Restoration Company, for the past couple of summers. “I expect this scholarship to help keep me focused through school and continue working in the restoration industry and possibly for Mid-Continental,” said Halsey, “During the past summers I have worked and made enough money to last me through the school year, but this summer I'm doing an internship which will not pay as much as I would be able to make working on a restoration crew, so this scholarship is very important for me.” Halsey has accepted an internship in San Marcos, California and hopes to have the opportunity to accept a full-time position upon ompletion of his education. Halsey has only a few more semesters of school left. Halsey was presented his scholarship at the “Big Launch” of SWR Foundation’s “Create A Legacy” at the Winter Technical Meeting in Maui.
