About this project:
A new tracery window was fabricated in Indiana gray limestone. The complex geometry was transferred from shop drawings and cutting templates to a computer dxf file. The waterjet saw was used to rough-out the shapes before they were sent to the banker masons for carving. This use of high tech saved several weeks of costly labour. The finished window was delivered to the site and installed by SWR Institute contractor member Houck & Company, Inc. A spectacular new stained glass window was then installed.
